Time to check the outside of your home to protect it from the coming summer sun and monsoon rains. Look for peeling paint on exterior wood. Or worse, no paint at all. Unprotected wood may not last another year unless you get it covered up.
Painted wood trim should have at least two coats of paint on it.
Varnished doors are especially susceptible to the summer sun. You can use a medium priced disposable brush to apply a couple of coats of varnish.
Too much work? Or, you don’t have the money to repaint it right? At least get one coat on the wood to protect it. It won’t last long. But, it’ll get you through the summer.
